The layers are fused under heat and pressure, creating a single, unified pane that resists penetration and shattering.

When laminated glass breaks, the interlayer holds glass fragments in place rather than allowing dangerous shards to scatter. This is a critical safety property for high-risk industrial, military, and architectural applications.

Laminated Glass Fabrication Process
